Note from Carole: THE SATURDAY MEETING WILL BE HELD AT THE GLENN CITY COMMUNITY CENTER. HERE ARE THE DIRECTIONS: COMING FROM I-20, GO PAST THE OLD RECREATION CENTER. CONTINUE UNTIL YOU GET TO 10th STREET. TURN RIGHT AND CONTINUE UP THE STREET ABOUT 3 BLOCKS UNTIL YOU GET TO 16TH AVENUE. DURNAN SOUTH SCHOOL IS ON THE RIGHT. THE GLENN COMMUNITY CENTER IS ON THE RIGHT AS YOU TURN THE CORNER BEFORE THE SCHOOL. THIS IS A COMPLETELY RENOVATED BUILDING AND IT IS SPOTLESS. WE HAVE A BRAND NEW KITCHEN, WITH A LARGE MEETING ROOM AND NEW TABLES AND CHAIRS. WE ARE HOPING THIS WILL BE OUR PERMANENT HOME. WE NEVER KNOW BECAUSE FREE IS GOOD. Thanks! |
